Spring is in full swing, which means it's about time for our Spring Quarterly Membership Meeting. The quarterly meeting is where we keep house, discuss new & ongoing projects, and get to know the other members of our association. Plus eat some pizza together! Here's what's on the docket . . .
⁕ Annual Juneteenth celebration at Harrison (plus movie nights in the park)
⁕ 13th St Block Party ft local visual artists, musicians, bracelet-making, kids, bouncy house, Join Fair, & more on Saturday May 17
⁕ A new 'Friends of USNA' membership to encourage those who live outside the bounds of the association to contribute to our community programming
⁕ Temperance Alley Garden summer budgeting for infrastructure improvements and Stump Fellowship events & incubations
⁕ African-American Civil War Memorial activations in partnership with the museum, which reopens July 18
If there's anything else you'd like to discuss or propose, please let me know and we'll get you on the agenda. I'm always inspired by how we're able to do a lot with a little--thanks so much for helping the neighborhood spring to life.
