As you know there are a lot of candidates running to represent Ward 1 — and our neighborhood — on the DC Council. The U Street Neighborhood Association is inviting each candidate to join our community meetings for informal meet-and-greet sessions. It’s a way for us to meet the candidates AND to tell them about the needs of our community.

Our first meeting will be on Tuesday, March 10, 6 - 7pm, with Rashida Brown, candidate for Ward 1 Council and currently ANC Commissioner representing Park View and Pleasant Plains. Please join us! We will be meeting at the Thurgood Marshall Center at 1816 12th Street, NW.
