Ecstatic Dance DC is back! And they are partnering with us at Temperance Alley Garden to host an ecstatic dance this Thursday evening from 7pm - 9pm. There will be another Ecstatic Dance on Friday morning from 7:00am - 9:30am. Tickets are $20 for the individual Evening and Morning events or $30 for both. Please register and purchase your tickets on Eventbrite at this link.

Costumes highly encouraged. It’s Halloween week - so wear something silly, provocative or fun. Have a funky onesie you' haven’t worn in forever? Throw that baby on!

What is Ecstatic Dance? Ecstatic Dance is a community gathering for people who want to express themselves in a playful and artistic space with other people who value conscious connection, movement, and music.

Ecstatic Dance is the “dance-iest dance floor in all of DC.” There will be a diversity of expressions and generations show up for one thing: to dance. All magic and connection sprouts from that singular intention. Our barefoot, non-verbal, lucid space is curated for you to let loose, play, commune with your body and connect with others in a vibrant setting. This event will be a Silent Disco Ecstatic Dance. Headphones will be provided.

Soundtrack and DJ: Ursidae Music

COVID Safety Protocols: With regard to public health and our commitment to making Ecstatic Dance as safe as possible, we will be requiring either proof of vaccination OR a negative covid test within 72 hours before the dance begins. Thank you for your help keeping our community safe!

First time to an Ecstatic Dance? Here's an introduction to what we're about:

Ecstatic Dance is a community gathering for people who want to express themselves in a playful and artistic space with other people who value conscious connection, movement, and great music!

We create a dance/movement space that is inspiring and uplifting, without talking, alcohol or nightclub vibes. We encourage participants to utilize the Ecstatic Dance space as a laboratory for creative movement, unbridled self-expression, authentic connections and a healthy dose of sweat.

We hold a nonverbal, barefoot, alcohol-free container to keep the journey intentional and lucid.
